Dear Readers and Writers,
Awake for more than 30 hours, and it was worth every second of my open eyed
twired (tired + wired) level of functionality.
I had the most amazing night, sharing exuberant conversations with a
living legend that evolved into a sharing of knowledge and experience. Me, the ingénue in the area of her expertise,
and she ready to learn what I had to share in mine. History to pasts to presents, we shared, both
parting wisdom, comradery, and so much more throughout the lovely evening and
night.
A night that at its end, the knowledge arose the night could never be duplicated
in exact. It was a night which will
remain long cherished from mentor to student, colleagues. It was a night shared by neighbors, doing neighborly
deeds.
Now I know what all of you are thinking, and no, this is not my latest
romance. This was a profound sharing experience
between colleagues who became friends over the span of one night and some
delicious chocolate cherry jam. Especially,
when I don't ordinarily care for jam.
But this was good, and an experience I can share with youngsters when
I'm old and gray.
Happy Reading and Making New Friends,
Carolyn Haven
